How to onboard sellers for EZM

When reviewing Pending Sellers, you can see if the Seller has added EZM qualifications, or if they were automatically added due to the seller using the EZ Messenger referral link.

If you see a Seller has added one or two EZM qualifications, send them a message on Intercom asking if they are wanting to join EZ Messenger's platform as well. If they do not wish to, you can remove the EZM qualifications.


  1. Once you see that a Seller wants to join EZ Messenger's platform, go into FAST and add the seller as a new server.

  2. Ensure that these fields are filled out. For Tax ID prior to receiving W9, use "XXXX". Also make sure that you add a note of the EZK Seller ID so EZM can link the wallet. For the Login use the format firstname.lastname. Submit when finished.

  3. Go to the Seller's account in EZK, and click Notes &Settings. Add the Seller's EZM Server ID to the Reference number field. This is needed to link the Seller's EZM pay to the EZK Wallet.

  4. Next, you will send the seller any e sign docs needed via ZOHO Sign. Prior to sending them the e sign docs, send a message using the macro Sending E Sign Docs.

  5. Go back to the Seller's account and in Notes & Settings enter in a UST note that you sent the seller the e sign docs. The background check/drug test pay and initiate instructions and EZM Quiz should be given to the seller after they complete the E sign documents.

  6. Once you have download and uploaded the e sign documents to the seller's EZK account and approved the qualifications. Upload the same documents in their FAST Vendor Profile. (Do not forget to change the Tax ID now that you have the W9!) Use the Documents tab in their account in FAST and click Upload New Files. When uploading you will need to choose a document type. All of the documents you are uploading have an option. For the Quiz you can choose Server Testing.

  7. Next, click the Reset Password option in FAST so the seller receives an email to reset their password for EZM. They need to log into EZM's portal and add their coverage. If the seller has questions regarding how to add coverage please forward them to EZM's Vendor Support. Reach out to the Seller with the macro for the quiz and background check/drug test instructions as well. Edit the macro to fit if the seller needs a drug test or not. Only those in MO need a drug test if onboarding to EZM. Enter a note in Notes and Settings of their EZK account to say you sent the EZM quiz and bg check/drug test instructions.

  8. Once the Seller has passed the EZM quiz and has completed the background check/drug test, approve the qualifications. Upload the background check/drug test report and EZM quiz results to their FAST profile. Make sure to toggle the Background Check as internal.

  9. Review the FAST profile to ensure that you have uploaded all documents upload and all fields filled out accurately. Check that the seller has also added at least one zip code to their Coverage in FAST. (Click Coverage List tab in FAST).

  10. Reach out to Brenda Shaw and Derek Cujko advising that the seller is ready to be unlocked. They will unlock the seller and ensure their EZK wallet is connected on the EZM side.

  11. Send a final message to the Seller advising them they are set up in EZK and EZM. Provide help articles about the Wholesale and Retail Markets in EZK. Forward any questions about EZM's platform to EZM Vendor Support
