E-Signing can help Buyers and Sellers alike! Sellers can sign returns much quicker with an E-Signature, and Buyers in turn can receive their signed returns faster!

Locating your return for E-Signature

  1. Locate the return you wish to E -Sign in the For Proof Upload section of your inventory and click on the name of the recipient.

  2. Once in the order timeline, the action item to the right of the screen will prompt you to either upload a signed return or e sign the return. Choose the E-Sign the Return Document option. * This option will only show if the return is ready to be signed. If you have any questions about the return, please contact the Buyer on the order via Direct Message.

3. You will be redirected to a new page with the document you need to E-Sign. Choose the Signature option.

You have three signature options:

  • Profile Signature - This is the E Signature you created on EZ Knock that is in your profile.

  • Draw Signature - Draw your signature directly on the return.

  • Upload Image - Have a E Signature that you want to use instead? Upload an image file with a transparent background to add to the return.

Returns may look different than the below. Below is an example of the EZ Knock Delivery Letter


E-Signing the Return

Using your Profile Signature

  1. After choosing the Profile Signature option you will see that your E Signature will appear on the page. Resize and move the signature to the signature line.

Drawing your Signature

  1. After choosing the Draw Signature option, you will receive a pop -up box asking you to create a signature. Your mouse will act as the pen--left-click and hold to start drawing your signature.

  2. Once finished, click Insert Signature

  3. Now you can resize the signature and move it to wherever the signature line is

Upload Image

  1. After choosing the Upload image, a choose a file pop-up will come up from your computer. Choose your file. * Remember your image must have a transparent background!

  2. Once you have chosen your image, it will appear on the page, resize and move to the signature line.

If you have text you would like to add, go to the next section.


Adding Text to the Return

You may have the need to add text to the return, such as dates, names, times, etc.

  1. Click the text option at the top of the return to start.

2. You will see a text box with the word "Text" appear. Simply highlight the word using your mouse (click and drag over the word) and delete.

After highlighting the original text and deleting, you can add your own text.

3. You can resize and move your text to whatever size and wherever the text needs to be. You can add additional text by clicking the text option again at the top of the page.

4. Once you are finished, click the Save button at the top of the return. See next section for details on saving your return.


Saving Your Signed Return

If you are finished with the return, click the Save icon at the top. You will be prompted with a pop-up box asking you to name the file you are saving. Ensure the type is Signed Return and then click Submit.

Once you click Submit, the page will refresh and you will return to the Order Timeline. You will see now that the order is in Proof Review, awaiting Buyer review of your return.
