How to manage a Seller's account details and notes
There may be a need for UST and Marketing to enter in notes on a Seller's profile for various reason. Sellers also may not be comfortable having their profile picture visible to Buyers. Notes and Settings is only available on the UST portal and will assist with entering notes and changing profile picture settings.

Getting to Seller's Account Management Tab
Click on the name of the Seller you wish to enter notes or change settings for.

2. You will be taken to the Seller's account. Click on the Notes & Settings tab.

Adding Notes
Click the plus icon in the top right corner of the Notes box.
You will be asked to provide a Title for the note, enter in a Title then proceed to the body of the message to type in your notes. You are able to add attachments as well. Click Submit once you are finished.


3. You will see your note in the log after you have submitted. It includes the date, time note, and the person who added the note. If there are any attachments, you can click on the attachment icon to view the file.

Seller Settings--Profile Picture
You may come across a Seller who does not want their picture to be shown to Buyers in the marketplace. EZ Knock Marketplace will still require the Seller to upload a profile picture for verification purposes to compare against the Driver's License. However, we are able to change a setting so that the Seller's photo is not visible to Buyers. This change should not be made unless requested by the Seller.
To turn off the display of the Profile Picture, click this setting off, then click Save Changes. Add a new Note to advise of Seller's request to turn off the display of their profile picture to Buyers.

When the Seller or UST go into the Seller Profile, the avatar at the top will be of a person icon. This is how they will appear on the UST list and to Buyers. The Seller's upload profile picture is still present on the right side of the Personal Tab, but it has a banner across that states "Picture is hidden from Buyers". If a Seller uploads a new profile picture, the new picture will still stay hidden from Buyers. This setting will remain unless changed by UST at the request of the Seller.


Changing A Seller's Email Address
To change a Seller's email address, within Notes & Settings, click the gear icon next to the Seller's email.

2. Enter in the Seller's new email address and click Submit. Once you have set a new email, Seller will receive a reset password email to the new email address. Seller needs to reset their password. Seller may also require going through two-factor authentication again.
