How to use Paylocity's self service web portal to submit time off (PTO) requests.
Log into the Paylocity Self Service Portal.
For most employees, your home screen should look like this. Select the orange 'Launch Time & Attendance' button then proceed to this section. (Managers follow the next section).

If you supervise other employees your screen starts in the 'Time & Labor' management mode. To turn in a request for your own PTO select 'Home', 'Employee Dashboard', then follow the steps below.

You should now see this on your screen:

Fill in these boxes as indicated in the list below.

Make sure 'Request' is selected (will turn blue).
Select the correct type from the 'Select Type' dropdown menu.
Select the 'Single Day' or 'Multiple Days' radio button. Fill in the dates, times, and hours section as needed.
Add any notes you may want to.
Select 'Submit Request'. After a supervisor approves or declines the request, a message will appear in the Message Center.
If you want to check status of your request, follow the steps to get to the 'Time Off' section, then click the 'Status' button (will turn blue once selected). Statuses will be 'Pending' until either accepted or declined by your supervisor.
