EFILE CITATION REJECTIONS

If the efile citation request letter and conformed copy comes back without the citation attached, please follow the instructions below.

1. Read the court clerks notes written on the letter or sticky notes.

2. Enter the notes into charges and events under event type Court Status.

   1. If the note is requesting more fees to be paid in order to obtain citation, please assign job to e file ready misc>misc

3. If the note from the court clerk is requesting more than one conformed copy. Please make sure that you send a conformed copy of petition for each defendant on the case.

   1. If this is the case, make a note that *the court rejected citation copy request due to insufficient copies of petition. Mailed requested amount of conformed copies to court today.”

   2. Mail new request letter and petition with a business reply mail envelope to the court.
