The flow of an order, the order status, it's milestones and deadlines are essential information that Buyers and Sellers should be aware of.

In this article these elements will be defined to better understand the process an order goes through.

Order Flow and Statuses

The flow of a job can be marked by its status in addition to the milestones it reaches. Order statuses are not one-directional. Depending on the action taken by Buyers and Sellers a status can revert back to a previous status in the flow.

Order Created – Once an order has been submitted it will have this status.

Available – This status means that the order is available to Sellers. This status means your order is ready to be placed on the Candy Bowl and Marketplace.

Seller Accepted – This status is used once a Seller accepts an order.

Buyer Mailing -- This status is used when either originals need for delivery or a check for a witness fee is being mailed by the Buyer.

Seller Received -- This status is used when the Seller has acknowledged they have received originals needed for delivery or the witness fee check.

Into Field – This status is used when an order’s delivery document is printed by the Seller.

Attempted – This status is used once an attempt has been made on an order.

Delivered – This status is used once an order has been successfully delivered. The next status from here for a successfully delivered order is Proof Review once the Seller uploads the proof.

Diligence Review – This status is used once a Seller indicates they have completed diligence. The Buyer now needs to review for approval of diligence.

Diligence Approved – This status indicates the buyer has approved the seller’s diligence attempts.

Proof Review – This status indicates the seller has uploaded a delivery proof and it is now pending review for the Buyer.

Proof Approved – This status is used once the Buyer has approved the delivery proof

Closed and Rating Pending – This status is used until both buyer and seller rate each other.

Completed – This indicates everything is done, including ratings, on the order and nothing else is required.

Buyer Review -- This status is used when an order requires input from the Buyer before it can proceed. This status can occur at any time.

Milestones

Milestones are a key piece of information that when used in conjunction with Order Statuses, will allow Sellers and Buyers to further understand where an order is at in the process. Unlike Order Status, Milestones are one-directional. Once an order has reached a Milestone, it cannot go back to a previous one.

Order Entered: Once an order has been entered

Order Accepted: Once an order has been accepted by a Seller

Order Into Field: Once a Seller has printed the documents to be delivered, or has acknowledged they received originals or a check that was mailed

Order Attempted: Once a Seller has made and entered the first attempt

Diligence Completed: Once Seller has successfully delivered or finishes the last attempt

Completed Return Attached: Once Seller uploads the return

Order Completed: Once the Buyer approves the return

Deadlines

In addition to order statuses and milestones, there are important deadlines that Buyers should note when creating their orders, and Sellers should note when accepting and working through the order. The below are deadlines that may be set for an order.
