How do I use WhoKnocked?

First, you will need to confirm your PURL(Personalized URL) is working. Your PURL will look something like "https://WhoKnocked.com/John.S" This is the web address that will print on your cards. If your PURL isn't working make sure you have the right PURL by going here and confirming your profile.

Second, you need to order(or reorder) your door hangers(cards). See this article on how to reorder. When you receive your cards re-confirm that your PURL is functioning by going to the address on your cards.

Next, you start leaving the door hangers on your attempts. It's that simple.

When the resident receives the door hanger they will navigate in their browser to your PURL. From there they will enter the the file number that you wrote on the card and they will enter their phone number. They will have the option to either text or call you at this time. Your number is not shared with them and their number is not shared with you, see our privacy policy for more information.

The link between you and the resident will remain active for as long as you are assigned to the job. Once you are no longer assigned to the job the resident will no longer be able to contact you and you will no longer be able to contact them.

NOTICE - Text messages and voice calls will be recorded and indexed to the jobs for your protection. This is your notice that these will be recorded. If you live in a state that requires two party agreement for voice recordings please keep that in mind. We are working on improving the application to have this notification more prevalent.
