Using Your App During A System Outage

How to continue making attempts and not lose your work during system outage or maintenance.

EZ Messenger occasionally has a need to take our systems offline for various types of maintenance and updates. We try to plan these maintenance windows during times that have the least impact on our customers and vendors (process servers). Sometimes these maintenance windows happen during a time that you may be making attempts. With a couple of steps you can continue working during these maintenance events and not miss a beat!

**ALWAYS KEEP BACK UP RECORDS IN CASE YOUR ATTEMPTS DO NOT UPLOAD VIA THE APP**

Note the timeframe that the maintenance outage will take place.  This will be           found in the notification you receive announcing the scheduled system                     maintenance event.  This will assist you in planning for the system maintenance event.

  1. Make sure you have printed all documents(if applicable) from the website. The app will function during the maintenance window but the website may not.

  2. Make sure you have downloaded all inventory to your application/mobile device. The application will not be able to connect to our system during the maintenance window and will not be able to download inventory.

  3. DO NOT log out of the mobile application during the maintenance window. Your application will not be able to connect to our systems during the outage and therefore will not be able to authenticate your account, login will fail rendering your app useless.

  4. Confirm the system is online BEFORE attempting to submit the attempts and serves in your queue. You can do this by logging into the website. This step is a convenience and will avoid useless and confusing errors from the application trying to connect while the system is still offline.

If all else fails, save your photos and attempt notes and you will be able to catch up via the website at the end of the maintenance window.
