Personal Service- Leaving the document personally/directly with the defendant(s)/servee.

Residential Sub Service- Leaving a copy or copies thereof at the person’s usual place of abode, with any person suitable age and discretion who is a member of the residence.

Business Substitute Service- Service upon a company, commercial establishment or other entity.Service can only be performed on an Officer, Managing Partner/Member, Owner or the statutory agent for the company.

Non-Service When service cannot be completed on the person being served for various reasons such as the defendant does not live at the address provided. 

Alt Service Request-Request for alternative service 

Service By Posting – Order from Court granting service by posting at one (1) address. 

Drop Service - This is not considered a manner of service, but rather, an option if allowed. The defendant, who has been properly identified, cause you to leave the documents because they refuse to take possession. The document is left with the defendant without them physically handling the documents being served. There must be specific instructions for this to be allowed.
