How do I opt in and out of zip codes?

How do I opt in and out of zip codes?

There are two ways you can add zip codes to your coverage request, this article will explain how to do it both ways as well as how to remove zip codes from your coverage.

  1. Log on the web portal by visiting www.ezmessenger.com. Click the login button in middle, top of the screen.

  2. Enter user name and password credentials.

  3. Once logged in, click the account button by clicking the drop down (welcome, company name) on the top right corner of the web portal.

4. Once you click account you will be required to enter your password again. Onceyou have typed in your password click the continue button.

How to add zip codes from Zip Code Coverage tab

  1. The top of the screen you will find a tab that says zip coverage.

2. Click chevron icon to the far right of "Request Zip Codes".

3.  Once you click the chevron icon it will bring down 4 options to search for zip codes: 

Search by zip codes 

Search by City 

Search by County 

Search by State 

Keep in mind you can use multiple fields to complete you search. For example you can search Oklahoma County, state of Oklahoma.

Once you have the fields completed click submit. 

4.  Once you click submit it will bring down all zip codes for that State and county. If you search only by county there will be a chance that county exists in another state as well. So be cautious only using one field at a time.
 

  5. Make your selections by clicking the boxes on far left side. Once selected a green check mark will appear in the box. Once you have made all your selections, click submit.
6. Notice now there a multiple zip codes added to the coverage lists.

How to add zip codes from Opt In Map

  1. Log on the web portal by visiting www.ezmessenger.com. Click the login button in middle, top of the screen.

  2. Enter user name and password credentials.

  3. Once logged in, click the account button by clicking the drop down (welcome, company name) on the top right corner of the web portal.

4. Once you click account you will be required to enter your password again. Onceyou have typed in your password click the continue button.

5. Click the Opt In Map tab

If you notice on the top left the page there is a slider to adjust boundary radius. The slider allows you to view zip codes currently opt’d into or other zip codes you may want to show interest in. 

a. Blue pins-Represent pins that you are currently opt’d into .
 b. Yellow pins are zip codes you are not currently opt'd into.

By clicking the pin it will allow you to see the different commission tier rates. If you agree to the rates you can add this zip code by clicking add coverage request.

6. . Once you click add coverage request you will be prompted to confirm the added zip coverage.If you agree select the confirm button.

You now have opt’d into one zip code. You will need to do this for each zip code you are interested in.

Zip codes can also be added via the grid view on the Opt In Map tab. 

  1. Click grid view from the right side of the page.

2. When you click grid view, you can now see areas you have requested coverage and areas of coverage nearby. Keep in the mind you will be able to see zip codes in areas you have the slide set to. If you choose to see additional zip codes, you will need to increase the radius by using the slider tool.

3. Requesting zip codes in bulk can be done by making multiple selections by clicking multiple boxes on the nearby zip codes view.

4. In the grid above there are 3 zip selections made. Once you have made all your selections click add selected.

5. Once you add the selected zip codes you will need confirm you want to add this coverage to your list.

6. Once you have successfully added these zip codes they will now appear in Coverage requests area.


How to remove zip code coverage

 

From Opt in Map:

  1. Click on the map view. Once the map view is pulled up click on one of the blue pins you are opt’d into that you choose to remove from coverage. 

2. Click the red link that says remove coverage request.
3. Once you click remove coverage request you will need to confirm you want to remove from coverage.

4. Click confirm and now you are opt’d out of the zip coverage. If have multiple zip codes you want to remove repeat this step.

If on the ZIP coverage tab or in grid view on the Opt In Map tab: 

  1. To remove unwanted zip codes you do so by clicking the red trash can on the far right side of the coverage requests lists.
