EZ Messenger Vendors - Vendor Compliance

Qualifications required for serving papers for EZ Messenger

Effective 1/01/2019 

What does staying in compliance mean?

As an Independent Contractor with EZ Messenger, you are required to provide and keep updated the following documentation:  

  • Valid State Driver’s License 

  • Proof of Automobile Insurance (Vendor MUST BE listed as a driver) 

  • Proof of General Liability (if applicable) 

  • Valid Process Server License / Certification / Appointment (if applicable) 

  • Completed Vendor Contract 

  • Completed Non-Disclosure Agreement 

  • Completed annual background review.  

  • Completed W9  

  • Texas OAG Test or Signature Document 

  • E-Signature Card 

  • Contact information: physical and mailing addresses. phone number, and email address. 

  • Vendor Code of Conduct

  • TXOAG SOP (Service of Process) Requirements

  • TXOAG FORM 1789-Report of Related Child Support Cases

  • TXOAG FORM 1799- Statement of Responsibility

 

Why is it important to keep this information updated and what happens if I don't?

To keep your profile in compliance and to ensure that we have all the correct information for year end tax documents. Documents routinely expire, it is YOUR responsibility to keep ALL documents current with EZ Messenger.  
Below you will find the guidelines that must be followed in order to keep your vendor profile active: 

  • 7 Days prior to document expiration, Vendor Profile will be placed on hold for all new assignments. 

  • 3 Days prior to document expiration, Vendor Profile will be locked down and assignment(s) will be pulled, and commission(s) will be reversed out.
