Vendor Performance Rating, VPR, what it means and how to improve
Vendor Performance Rating
The VPR is a way to report across geographical areas the effort put forth by vendors and to acknowledge best in class performance.
Method – The VPR is an aggregate scoring method using quality and service level metrics. Service level metrics are identified and assigned a pass or fail where quality-based items are incorporated into a 5 Star value. The individual pass/fail scores and the 5 Star Quality evaluation are combined to plot performance on an Under Performing, Good, Better, Best scale where Best represents top performers and Under Performing represents process service vendors who may need more support or information.
