Fast Scanner App

No scanner? No problem! You can easily convert a photo to a PDF with this app

1. Locate the Fast Scanner App on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. 

2. Once downloaded, and opened, you will see the below screen, click the camera icon.  

3. You will take a picture from above of your document, please ensure you are in a well lit area and the document is on a flat surface for best results. Once you are ready click the camera icon to take the picture. (You have the option to add grid lines, or flash at the top left and right of the screen.) BATCH MODE: You can also take multiple pictures of documents if you have a two page document or have multiple documents that need to be converted to a PDF. Clicking the paper icon on the bottom right changes the mode from Single to Batch Mode. Depending on how many documents you take pictures of the number in the red bubble will change. Once you are done taking pictures in batch mode, click the number in the red bubble to move to the next step.

4. Once the picture is taken you will be taken to the next screen to adjust the frame of the document. Drag the points to fit only the document in the frame, once you are done click the check mark at the top right to move to the next step. . (For Batch Mode, you will have to do this for every picture you have taken.)

5. In this step you can change the contrast of the document(s). Once complete click the check mark at the top right. 

6. The next screen will show you your completed scan. You have the option to rename the document(s) before sending to yourself.

7. Please click the box with an arrow on the bottom left to send the document(s) to yourself.

8. Apple users will have these options. Android users should have similar options to email the PDF without having to sign up for the Premium Fast Scanner app.
